We have a dodgeball tournament at our middle school were the number of teams competing depends on the amount of kids signed up. Say we have 48 teams signed up. We run a 32 team bracket with 16 pigtails/play in games. (Could do a 64 team bracket with byes but it's all unseeded random draw and kids question by some teams get byes and others don't. Bracket with play in games looks better.)
