Thanks for the response!
I know there is always going to be byes. It's just confusing/weird to put 18 players (9 teams) into a double elimination 16 team bracket and have to advance all but one match to the second round. Maybe there is a better way to do it.
I bulk add all the teams into a 16 team bracket. Here is an example http://bracketcloud.com/tournament/27210
Any help, suggestions greatly appreciated!

I see this post is a few months old but I also would love to see this implemented. I have the same issues/needs as Charles Alvear, in that I'm involved in weekly tournaments where there are always between 8-14 teams and it would be great if there was the option for them, too many byes seem to just slow the process down to where we will end up having empty boards that cause the tournaments to take longer than they should.
Great work thus far! I'm very pleased and impressed with this and hope to get this option in the future. Would gladly pay $10/mnth for this.Travis Oien supported this idea ·
Another reason is that we have 5 dart boards at our current tournament location. Labeled 1-5 and I would like to use the location notes to assign the boards, so when I shuffle the teams and add them I have to go back and switch all of the board locations to matches that don't have a bye or are auto advanced. I hope I'm making this clear, it's kind of hard to explain.
